How the Extension Works

Hiroo runs entirely in your own Chrome browser, using your own LinkedIn session. Here's what that means:

Your browser, your session

• Hiroo never stores your LinkedIn password or cookies
• No shared accounts, no proxies, no bots
• All browsing happens in your own browser, just like you visiting LinkedIn manually

What the extension does

1. When you start a scan, the extension visits each contact's LinkedIn profile
2. It reads the publicly visible information on the profile
3. It compares this with the last known state stored in your Hiroo dashboard
4. Any changes are recorded and you're notified

Rate limiting

The extension includes built-in delays between profile visits to respect LinkedIn's usage patterns. It behaves like a normal user browsing LinkedIn.

Privacy

Hiroo only reads publicly visible LinkedIn profile data. It does not access private messages, connection lists, or any data behind LinkedIn's privacy settings.
